Kids Kottage provides care for the children in a safe, warm, loving environment. Ages: Parents and children birth to 8 years

This playgroup is an interactive program designed for Defense Team members, employees & families and their children birth to eight years. Playgroup provides parents, caregivers and children an opportunity to participate in child development activities in a supervised setting. The program stimulates the understanding of child development needs introduces parents to the multitude of resources available at the MFRC. Playgroups run Mondays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the MFRC. There is a drop-In fee of $1/per session for each child OR $10.00 for 15 sessions and is free for babies under 12 months.

This is a partnership program between Sturgeon Literacy and the Military Family Resource Centre. Families with children birth to 6 years can learn songs and rhymes in a fun, interactive setting, and enhance children’s pre-literacy skills.  This program has been designed to assist families who are concerned about their child’s development or who are dealing with a lot of stressors.
